Added Value Injection Molding.
In 2002, ADE made significant investments
in Injection Molding machinery and equipment as a way
of reducing costs and speeding development efforts on
its unique, and very important, CRYSTALAIR� Compression
Packaging line.
This investment in future growth is complemented by
ADE�s strong commitment to become regarded as a producer
of high quality, short run injection molded parts for
customers who have a need for one or more of our �added-value�
production capabilities. Some examples of these added-value
capabilities are metal insert molding, priming, painting,
sonic-sealing, RF sealing, cementing, special packing,
parts assembly and kitting.
These �added-value� activities are applied to a variety
of injection-molded parts that weigh 52 ounces or less
and are produced on machines ranging in size from 135
to 650 tons. In addition, ADE has operational experience
using a wide range of resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene,
nylon, glass-filled nylon, styrene, K-resin, ABS, PCTG
and polyurethane.
